Fabrice Bergues is born in Oloron Sainte Marie, in Béarn region, France. From his earliest childhood, he gets fascinated by fly fishing and migratory fish (atlantic salmon and shad) quickly take over brown trout. He fells in love with the legendary river that flows right down his backyard : the Gave d'Oloron. Fabrice has widely contributed to popularize double handed fly fishing in France, usage of shooting heads and tubes flies. He currently lives close to the river and works as a fishing guide. He shares 25 years of experience in dispensing fly cast lessons (beginners and confirmed), tube flies tying, but also in arranging overseas fishing trips.
