My focus in fly fishing is to simply experience as much of it as humanly possible, not shutting myself off to any new idea or different approach to the sport. With such an open mind I have had opportunities in acquiring all kinds of new understanding towards the sport never trying to seek an exact way, but rather a harmonious fluidity of adaptability to whatever nature may throw my way. With this approach, for me, I can look passed on how fly fishing has been done previously in the United States and create my own unique approach. As Bruce Lee would put it: using no way as way, and having no limitation as limitation, and accepting that fly fishing was here before me and will remain after me; I am just an entity that sprouted from it.
