Simon was born in the south of France and discovered fishing at the age of 10 years. Although originally distant from the Pyrenean rivers that are dear to him today, he quickly became an exclusive trout angler. As a teenager, he explored the entire chain from the Pyrenees Orientales to Béarn, whether in streams or mountain lakes. He lives today in the south of Alpes Moutains for 5 years and has taken a passion for the different versions of flyfishing. He has published numerous articles in Salmonid fishing mag and is now editor in chief of Truites & Cie.
